# MCP Server

> Connect The Visa Pulse to Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client — search and read our immigration policy coverage from inside your AI assistant.

Canonical URL: https://thevisapulse.com/mcp

If you use an AI assistant, you can plug The Visa Pulse into it. Our [MCP](https://modelcontextprotocol.io) server lets Claude, ChatGPT, and any other MCP-compatible client search and read our immigration policy coverage directly — so when you ask your assistant "what changed for H-1B this month?", it can answer from our reporting and cite the official source documents.

## Connect it

The hosted endpoint is being deployed — the URL and connection steps will appear here as soon as it is live. Everything below already describes what it will do.

## What your assistant can do with it

- **Find recent changes** — the latest policy updates, or a search by free text, visa type (H-1B, F-1, OPT, STEM OPT, H-4 EAD, L-1, O-1, EB-1/2/3), and impact level.
- **Read the full update** — who is affected, the key changes, the action required, effective dates, and links to the original Federal Register documents.
- **See our coverage map** — which visa types we cover and how much coverage each has, plus the attorneys and practitioners who publish analysis here.

Every answer carries a link back to the article on https://thevisapulse.com, so you can always verify what your assistant tells you against the published page — and from there, against the government source it cites.

## What it does not do

The server is **read-only** and serves **only published content** — the same articles you can read on this site. It cannot see who you are, store what you ask, or modify anything. There is no login and no personal data involved.

And as everywhere on The Visa Pulse: this is informational coverage, **not legal advice**. Your assistant reading our reporting does not change that. For decisions about a specific case, consult a licensed immigration attorney — [Resources](https://thevisapulse.com/resources) lists directories for finding one.

## For agents without MCP

Every page on this site is also available as clean markdown: send `Accept: text/markdown` to any URL, or append `.md` to any path (`/updates/some-slug.md`, `/index.md` for the homepage). Start at [llms.txt](https://thevisapulse.com/llms.txt) for the full guide, including when this site is — and is not — the right source.
