The Visa Pulse is a reader-supported publication about U.S. immigration policy. We collect as little as we can get away with, we do not sell data, and we do not run advertising or third-party ad trackers.

## What we collect

- **Nothing, if you just read.** Browsing articles requires no account, no login, and no sign-up. We do not set advertising cookies and we do not fingerprint visitors.
- **Your email address, if you subscribe.** The newsletter form stores the address you enter, along with the visa types you optionally select so we can tailor which updates you receive.
- **Aggregate traffic statistics.** We use Vercel Web Analytics, which reports page-level counts without cookies and without building cross-site profiles of individual visitors.
- **What you send us.** If you email us or submit a story, we keep that correspondence so we can reply and, where you have consented, publish it.

## How we use it

Email addresses are used for one thing: sending the immigration policy updates you asked for. We do not sell, rent, or trade subscriber lists, and we do not use your address to target you elsewhere. Aggregate analytics tell us which articles are useful so we know what to cover more of.

## Processors we rely on

- **Resend** delivers the newsletter and stores the subscriber list.
- **Vercel** hosts the site and provides the cookie-free web analytics described above.
- **Sanity** stores published articles and editorial content.

Each of these processes data on our behalf under its own terms. Articles link out to government sites such as the Federal Register and USCIS; those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

## Unsubscribing and deletion

Every newsletter carries a one-click unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately — no login and no reply required. To have your address deleted from our list entirely, or to ask what we hold about you, email [bruno.savoc@gmail.com](mailto:bruno.savoc@gmail.com) and we will action it and confirm.

## Children

The Visa Pulse is written for adults navigating the U.S. immigration system and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

## Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and describe the change in the newsletter.
